Wherever We Left Off

It is written and directed by Christopher, filmed by Jessica and features me! Along with friends Marcus and Phillip. It was made over a span of about four days at any available chance. It was incredibly hectic as we were also moving, attending school, and working during these days. For example, the opening coffee scene was filmed at approximately 1:30AM at a 24 hour restaurant after having moved two 17-foot Uhaul loads of boxes and furniture. The other scenes were filmed around the city (Victoria) as well as in and around Sidney. Another interesting tidbit is that Jessica climbed a giant mound of dirt to film the scene of the setting sun and the jumping scenes were filmed at a skate park.

Oh, and the deer scene! We stumbled across him and one other deer while making our way to Mystic Vale to do some scenes. Chris really wanted to feature some sort of wild life and it was as though the scene fell right into our hands. I couldn't believe how tame the deer were, it was a wonderful experience. We had the chance to watch them very closely for about ten minutes while standing only two feet away.

The music featured was recorded last summer by Beau. Both songs were written by Chris and performed by him and our friend Alex. You can find them on myspace and/or facebook if you would like to hear more.
